This session will present the findings of recent research on the experiences of trans people accessing sexual health services in Scotland. The research is the first major study of trans people’s access to sexual health care in Scotland. The session will be of interest to those working in sexual health policy and practice.

Oceana Maund

Oceana is Community Engagement Officer at the Scottish Trans Alliance and co-author of the recent report investigating access to sexual health services for trans including non-binary people in Scotland

Ruth McKenna

Ruth is the Senior Research and Communications Manager at Waverley Care.

Oliver Wain

Oliver Wain is a Peer Engagement Officer at Waverley Care, and worked alongside Ruth McKenna and Oceana Maund on the trans and non-binary sexual health research project "There Needs To Be Care Throughout".
